JASON: When God Moves
“The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was MOVING over the surface of the waters.” (-Genesis 1:2 NASB)
God was about to move. Darkness would shortly meet its match. Light was being birthed. All because God MOVED.
Whenever God moves, something is coming. God moved over the waters … and light was coming. Whenever God moves, the move is not the point; the event that the move is announcing is where the action is. The move is the alarm clock.
So are you seeing God do something in your life? Is God moving right before you?
Could it be that the move of God you are swimming in right now is just an alarm clock?
Could it be that God is wanting to birth something greater than a flashy spiritual moment?
Could it be that you’re consumed with the joy of the move and missing the point of the move?
Could it be that God the lover is wanting more than cheap momentary sex?
Could it be that the move of God is really the scream of God for you to move?
